Jokic's Nuggets Take 3-2 Series Lead Over Timberwolves

Denver's Star Center Dominates Game 5

DENVER, Colo. (AP) - Nikola Jokic led the Denver Nuggets to a 3-2 series lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference semifinals with a dominant performance in Game 5 on Monday night.

Jokic, who received the Michael Jordan Trophy from Commissioner Adam Silver before the game, finished with 30 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists. He was unstoppable in the paint, scoring at will against Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert.

The Nuggets also got strong performances from Jamal Murray (25 points) and Aaron Gordon (20 points). The Timberwolves were led by Anthony Edwards (22 points) and D'Angelo Russell (19 points).

Game 6 of the series will be played in Minneapolis on Wednesday night.
